These women jazz legends redefined the genre with their powerful voices, emotional depth, and groundbreaking contributions that continue to inspire generations.

As the lead art director for these specialty Time Inc. titles, I took a bold, creative approach to visually express each subject’s unique personality. Under tight deadline of under a month, I put together layout concepts, executed designs, and delivered revisions The result was a limited-edition series that sold out quickly, gave consumers a unique peek into the evolution of a super star that influenced generations.

As the lead art director for these specialty Time Inc. titles, I pulled images and used bold type treatment to showcase the impact the subject had on the world. With full design control i was able to move beyond limited images a put together a cohesive a creative publication that sold out almost immediately.

Harlem Fine Arts Show

A redesign of a classic publication to be more modern and appeal to a younger audience. I was able to upgrade the look keep it simple and modern with bold colors that resonated with the arts community.
